Community Development Center (CDC)

Introduction

Community Development Center (CDC) was established in 1991 and was was originally known as the Resource Center & Higher Education (PESDI) and was located in Block K, Cooperative College of Malaysia (CCM) Templer Road. Community Development Center (CDC) was established in 1991 and was was originally known as the Resource Center & Higher Education (PESDI) and was located in Block K, Cooperative College of Malaysia (CCM) Templer Road.

This center was later renamed as International Center for Higher Education & Higher Education in 2010 and placed in the IEM Building, Jalan Selangor until now. In 2014, the center was renamed to Higher Education Center. Subsequently, in 2016 the center was renamed to the Community Development Center (CSC).

Function

Previously, the KDP was responsible for conducting long-term programs involving SPM and Diploma students. Starting 2016 the direction and focus of the CDP is on community development, youth, women and qariah mosques.

Training Programs

This center offers short-term courses and long term courses such as the Certificate in Cooperative Management, Diploma in Cooperative Management, Professional Diploma in Cooperative Auditing and Bachelor of Business Administration with Honors (Focus) Cooperative Management (MKM-UUM) which is a joint venture between CCM and Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).
